Student Transition Programs
Mission Statement
The mission of Student Transition Programs is to promote engaging, and inclusive services, resources, programs and opportunities that orient and welcome new students, support current students, and develop student leaders to excel academically at Stockton University.
Vision
Our vision is to increase retention and close equity gaps through programming and initiatives that are intentional, targeted, inclusive, and integrated beginning with orientation, welcome week, and continues through academic year programs in collaboration with partners in Academic and Student Affairs. We aim to strategically design programs for both commuter and residential students as well as first-year, transfer, first-generation, sophomore, junior, senior and adult students.
Values
- We create opportunities for students to connect to other students, staff, and faculty.
- We develop student leaders who contribute to a more safe, inclusive, and welcoming community.
- We equip students with tools to complete their degree at Stockton
