At Stockton University, we believe that money should not be an obstacle in the pursuit of a quality education. We are here to assist you in finding the best options to help you in affording the cost of your education.


The U.S. Department of Education's Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) will resume collections of defaulted federal student loans on May 5, 2025.
 
Borrowers in default will receive emails from FSA informing them and urging them to contact the Default Resolution Group to make a payment, enroll in an IDR plan or sign up for loan rehabilitation.
 
In summer 2025, FSA will send required notices beginning administrative wage garnishment.
 

The U.S. Department of Education (ED) announced that the interest-free forbearance period for borrowers enrolled in the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) repayment plan will end. Borrowers enrolled in the SAVE plan will begin to accrue interest on their loans on August 1, 2025.

In addition, borrowers will also be responsible for making monthly payments that include accrued interest as well as principal amounts.

ED will begin to contact borrowers enrolled in the SAVE plan on July 10 with instructions on how to enroll in another loan repayment plan and begin making payments.

Students attending Stockton University in the Spring 2026 semesters should complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA to determine their eligibility for financial aid programs.

The 2025-2026 FAFSA is available now! Apply at fafsa.gov.

NJ Dreamer students will complete the NJ Alternative Application for Financial Aid (not the FAFSA) to determine their eligibility for financial aid programs.

Fall 2026 & Spring 2027

Students attending Stockton University in the Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027 semesters should complete the 2026-2027 FAFSA to determine their eligibility for financial aid programs.

The 2026-2027 FAFSA we be available at fafsa.gov on Oct. 1, 2025!

NJ Dreamer students will complete the NJ Alternative Application for Financial Aid (not the FAFSA) to determine their eligibility for financial aid programs.
