  Andrea Heymann, who co-curated "Drawing Against Oblivion," an internationally renowned exhibit of portraits of children murdered in the Holocaust, including local survivors' siblings, will speak at Stockton University's Manahawkin Instructional Site on Friday, Oct. 7 at noon.

• 'Remembering Elie Wiesel' Program Open to Community at Jewish Community Center Aug. 9

  The Sam Azeez Museum of Woodbine Heritage and The Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center are co-sponsoring the program at the Milton and Betty Katz Jewish Community Center, 501 N. Jerome Ave., Margate, N.J. with keynote speakers Ellen Norman Stern, who wrote one of the few authorized biographies of Wiesel, and Michael Berenbaum, a world-renowned scholar and author.
