Course Description:
Join us as we explore the Roy Adaptation Model and research in nursing! The second
annual Southern New Jersey Evidence Based Practice and Research Consortium presents Research,Theory, and Evidence Based Practice: Don't Get Lost in Translation. The goal of this conference is to celebrate nursing theory and research accomplishments.
Sr. Callista Roy PhD, RN, FAAN, one of the country's leading nurse theorists, is our
keynote speaker and will set the stage for a day of interpreting nursing research
as it applies to improved healthcare outcomes.
Learning Objectives:
- Explain select evidence based practice or research processes, models, or methods to modify practice changes in their organization
- Identify two strategies for translating new knowledge into nursing practice.
- Describe how to implement Roy's theoretical framework in a variety of clinical settings
