Appointments & Services
In Student Health Services, your health and safety remain our top priority. Medical staff is available to treat your medical needs by appointment or on a walk-in basis, when available.
Please be aware that in order to provide you with the best possible medical care, you will be required to tell the front desk staff a basic reason why you need to be seen at the time of scheduling your appointment.
Services We Provide
Student Health Services offers care for acute illness and minor injury.
Testing available on site includes:
- Strep
- Pregnancy
- Blood glucose
- Urine testing
Vaccinations
- Flu vaccines are offered during the fall semester
Services We Do Not Provide
Student Health Services does not offer the following services:
- Onsite x-rays
- Suturing
- IV or infusion therapy
- Allergy injections
- Post-operative dressing changes or wound packing*
- Storage of patient medications
- Administration of patient medications
- STI testing
*Post-operative dressing changes may be considered only with specific written instructions from the surgeon. Documentation will be reviewed prior to scheduling an appointment.
Referrals
If your medical needs are outside the scope of services provided by Student Health Services, you may be referred to an outside provider or specialist. Services provided outside of Student Health Services will require the use of your health insurance.
