The William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy at Stockton University gathers public opinion and conducts research on New Jersey public policy, government, and politics. The Hughes Center fosters civic engagement throughout the state and recognizes civic leadership.

The Center is named in honor of U.S. Ambassador William J. Hughes. A native of southern New Jersey and a public servant for over 50 years, Ambassador Hughes was dedicated to the prosperity and freedom of the American people.
