Lunch with a Legislator

On October 8th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Assemblywoman Claire Swift and Assemblyman Don Guardian will join us for Lunch with a Legislator in room L115. They will share their journeys to the state legislature, explainthe responsibilities of their roles, and offer a glimpse into their full-time careers outside of public office. There will be time for Q & A.

All are welcome!

Atlantic City Mayoral Debate
Tuesday, October 14, 2025 | 7 - 8 p.m.
Location: Atlantic City Campus - Fannie Lou Hamer Event Room

This debate is co-sponsored and will take place before a live, public audience, moderated by Alyssa Maurice of the Hughes Public Policy Center and Buzz Keough of the Press of Atlantic City. It will also be livestreamed by the Hughes Public Policy Center on YouTube and available on The Press’ website. A recording will be archived and available to watch shortly afterward. Democratic incumbent Marty Small Sr. and Republican candidate Naeem Khan have agreed to participate.

The Press and the Hughes Public Policy Center will accept suggested debate questions from members of the public in advance of the event. Only the moderators will pose questions during the debate. SUBMIT YOUR DEBATE QUESTION HERE

Featuring RDML USN (ret.) Kevin M. Sweeney and Matthew Herrmann, Principal at The Roosevelt Group, this panel event with D.C. lobbyists will focus on working in Washington D.C., government relations, lobbying, the current landscape of the federal government, and careers in government. Pizza and light refreshments will be served. The public is welcome to attend.

Location: Stockton University Campus Center Theatre, Galloway, NJ
This debate is co-sponsored and will take place before a live, public audience, moderated by Alyssa Maurice from the Hughes Public Policy Center and Buzz Keough from the Press of Atlantic City. It will also be livestreamed by the Hughes Public Policy Center on YouTube and available on The Press’ website. Major-party candidates, including Republican incumbents Don Guardian and Claire Swift and Democratic challengers Joanne Famularo and Maureen Rowan, have agreed to participate.
