Bowe’s latest book, History in the Making: A Focus on Five U.S. Presidents, takes readers on a decades-long pictorial journey through major historical and political events.

American National Security, Trade Policy, and the Jones Act

Join us for a panel of distinguished experts from the U.S. military, think tanks, and academia to discuss the Jones Act and its critical role in America’s national security interests and in the global economy. The Jones Act remains pivotal in the discussion of U.S. maritime policy and naval strategy, trade policy, disaster assistance, and more. Rear Admiral Kevin M. Sweeney (Former Chief of Staff to Secretary of Defense James N. Mattis) will serve as moderator, and panelists include Rear Admiral Philip E. Sobeck (Commander, U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command), Honorable Paul C. Ney Jr. (Former General Counsel of the Department of Defense), Colin Grabow (Associate Director at the Cato Institute’s Herbert A. Stiefel Center for Trade Policy Studies).
