10:00 - 10:30 am BUZZ SESSION: Leadership is Multidisciplinary: Strengthening Students'
                                                      Leadership Capacity/Identity in Any Discipline/Field | Sequetta Sweet Meeting Location: Via Zoom Information: In this session we will show the interdisciplinary nature of leadership
                                                   and discuss ways to strengthen students' leadership capacity, identity, and learning
                                                   to prepare them for practice in any discipline. I teach in the Ed.D. in Organizational
                                                   Leadership where the doctoral students are from various disciplines and on various
                                                   career trajectories. My teaching must be inter- and multidisciplinary and be a fit
                                                   for all disciplines, cultures, races, genders, gender identities, and other differences.
                                                   I must be able to and have crossed the boundaries of all of these areas and have hones
                                                   skills to be able to help our faculty develop the leadership skill and practice of
                                                   their students to prepare them any discipline. I will present proven pedagogical techniques
                                                   in these areas. Format: A buzz session provides 10 minutes of information on the session topic, 10
                                                      minutes of small group conversation, and 10 minutes of wrap-up discussion to promote
                                                      an active learning experience.

 Information:  In this interactive presentation, entitled Disability Awareness, Etiquette,
                                                   & the Role of Disability Support Services, we will discuss disability related issues,
                                                   highlight challenging attitudes about disability, discuss our preconceptions of disability
                                                   and the fears of interacting with people with disabilities. We will also discuss the
                                                   role of the disability support services office in higher education.
