The facilities for Dance and the Performing Arts at Stockton University include the following:

Dancers in Studio H104

Dance Studio H104
The studio has sprung floors with Marley overlay, portable and wall barres, grand piano and drums for live music in class, mirrors, a wall full of windows, surround sound system and separate portable Bose system, and a wall mounted television with smart classroom technology.  Dressing Rooms and lockers for dance majors and minors are in the hallway next to the studio.

The studio has sprung floors with Marley overlay, portable and wall barres, portable piano and drums for live music in class, mirrors with drop down screens, projector and screen connected to smart classroom technology, and a surround sound system.  Dressing rooms are downstairs.

Stockton Performing Arts Center
The Stockton Performing Arts Center is a large proscenium stage with audience capacity for over 500 people. The Stockton Dance Company performs in the PAC each Spring.

 

Warming up in the ET

Stockton's Experimental Theatre
The Experimental Theatre is a traditional black box theatre, seating less than 100 audience members.  Each year, Stockton Dance Company presents two performances in this intimate space.

 

Performance in the Campus Center Theatre

Campus Center Theatre
The Campus Center Theatre highlights performances in a chamber setting. This space has been used for performances such as The Medley Series.

 


Additional Spaces Include the Following:

Alton Auditorium
An auditorium space often used for additional performances, especially for fundraisers by student clubs such as Dance Team.

Music Practice Rooms
Music Practice rooms are available to students studying music and are reservable through the Arts & Humanities Office.

Costume Shop
The costume shop is where costumes for various productions are designed and built.  It includes sewing machines, sergers, cutting tables, body forms for fitting costumes, etc.

Scene Shop
The scene shop is where props and sets are built for various productions.  The shop includes multiple power tools.

Costume and Prop Storage
Costume and Prop Storage is located in the area near the Performing Arts Center.
