11th Annual Hesburgh Lecture: Hunting for Viruses in an Ebola Hotspot

November 9, 2018, 2:10pm-3:30pm, Stockton University, Room L-112, 101 Vera King Farris Dr., Galloway, NJ 08205 | How did the ebola epidemic that raged in West Africa in 2014-15 begin? Many may have forgotten the major scare in the US when infected health care workers returned to the US. Scientists have searched for clues with little success. Was it infected bushmeat? An encounter with bats? In this lecture, Prof. Bolton discusses her own contributions, focusing on research with chimpanzees and monkeys in Central Sierra Leone.
