Shaker Cheese Basket

Saturday, 8/10/2024, 10am-12pm, Swan Bay Folk Art Center, 300 Sooys Landing, Port Republic | In this workshop students will complete a Shaker Cheese basket which was traditionally lined with cheese cloth, filled with curds and whey, and when the time came to remove the cured curds from the basket, the cheese wheel would be a six sided shape. This basket is for intermediate or very patient beginners.
