Foundation Scholarship Gala to Bring Garden Affair to Campus

Since the Gala's start more than 40 years ago, the event has raised more than $5 million for scholarships that support Stockton students.
Galloway, N.J. — After a triumphant return to Stockton University’s Galloway campus last year, the annual Foundation Scholarship Benefit Gala will be back at the Campus Center at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18.
Since the Gala’s start more than 40 years ago, the event has raised more than $5 million for scholarships that support Stockton’s students in pursuing higher education. The Benefit Gala Endowed Scholarship Fund ensures Stockton students receive financial support and access to a life-changing education.
“Year after year, we are grateful for the incredible commitment the Stockton community shows our students and their futures,” said Dan Nugent, executive director of the Stockton Foundation. “This event is meant to honor that generosity and invites our philanthropic partners to experience the campus and meet the students they help support.”
This year’s strolling reception will feature food and drink stations, live entertainment, raffles and experiences led by faculty and students, including:
- A Garden Affair in the Grand Hall: The Campus Center will be transformed into a garden-inspired celebration, complete with a string quartet, curated raw bar and charcuterie and an exclusive auction.
- Energized Performances on the Main Stage: Our Event Room will feature a live DJ, surprise musical performances, a vibrant dance floor and a Mediterranean-inspired spread.
- An Intimate Evening in the Art & Music Café: In addition to a full buffet and carving stations, guests will have the opportunity to relax and connect while browsing student artwork and enjoying live performances in the Campus Center Coffeehouse.
“Through life-changing scholarships and opportunities supported by the Stockton Foundation, students are empowered to become the next generation of leaders. It is both an honor and a privilege for Borgata to continue investing in Stockton’s mission and supporting the future of its students each year,” said Niklas Rytterstrom, president & COO of Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
