For four consecutive years, Stockton University has been named to the Transfer Honor Roll by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Galloway, N.J. — Stockton University has once again been named to the Transfer Honor Roll by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society for its transfer-friendly policies for community college students.

Stockton is one of 251 colleges and universities that are being acknowledged for “the dynamic pathways they have created to support transfer students.” The 2025 list marks the fourth consecutive year Stockton has been included.
The honor roll—determined by 40 key metrics related to the support and success of transfer students—is chosen from among the top 25% of highest-rated colleges that have submitted data to PTK Connect, the honor society’s online tool for helping students find colleges and career opportunities.
“Stockton is proud to be recognized for our commitment to transfer students. From affordability and seamless admissions to strong support for bachelor’s degree completion, we are dedicated to creating pathways that empower community college transfer students to succeed,” said Heather Medina, director of Admissions.
“I’m proud of the transfer outcomes we’re seeing at these Honor Roll colleges,” said Lynn Tincher-Ladner, president and CEO of Phi Theta Kappa. “These colleges are doing more than just opening doors—they’re walking students through them. Their commitment to creating clear, supportive pathways demonstrates what’s possible when student success is truly the priority.”
Almost 40% of Stockton students are transfers, with the majority coming from community colleges. Stockton accepts on average 99% of credits transferred from another college.
Stockton has Transfer Pathways partnership agreements with a dozen community colleges in New Jersey that allow students to have dual admission options with Stockton and their community college.
