Golf Classic to Tee Off at New Location in September
Galloway, N.J. — The Stockton University Foundation’s annual Golf Classic will tee off Thursday, Sept. 19 at a new location at Renault Winery and Resort and will feature two new opportunities to support students.
The Early Bird Flight includes breakfast followed by a shotgun start, with lunch and awards following the round of golf. The Afternoon Aces Flight includes lunch, followed by the tournament and a cocktail reception where winners will be announced.
Another new feature this year allows participants to add a named scholarship to any level of support for $5,000, providing an additional way to make a lasting impact on students' lives.
The Stockton Foundation plays a crucial role in removing barriers to student success by providing more than $1 million in annual scholarship support and funding for innovative programs, faculty projects, student groups and other initiatives at the university.
“The Golf Classic is more than just a game, it’s a signature event that supports our students’ futures,” said Stockton President Joe Bertolino. “This year’s exciting new format and location reflect our commitment to enhancing our community’s involvement and impact. We look forward to seeing everyone come together to make a difference in the lives of our students.”
The tournament features contests for golfers of all skill levels, including Men's and Women's Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, and three Hole-in-One Challenges. Test your skills at our Putt for Prizes and win your share of cash at the 50/50 raffle.
