As a new student there are a couple ways to finance your education at Stockton:
- Graduate Assistantships. More information and application found on the Graduate Assistantship website found here.
- Graduate Scholarships. New, incoming graduate students are now eligible for scholarships for the fall and
spring semesters. This is a one-semester award that will apply to your first semester.
Scholarship awards are decided upon by the graduate faculty review committee and will
be disbursed after you register for courses.
-
Financial Aid. While the Federal and State Governments do not offer grants at the graduate level, graduate students are encouraged to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered for other types of financial aid offered at the graduate level. Browse the tabs below to view the different types of financial aid for which graduate students may be eligible. Click "Financial Aid" to be linked to the graduate student section of the Financial Aid website.
-
Military and Veteran Benefits: Benefits may be available if the graduate student is a veteran or currently in the reserves or National Guard. Children and spouses of veterans who are disabled or deceased as a result of serving in the military may also be eligible for educational assistance.
- Private loans through a bank or other financial institution
Once your deposit is paid (and you are considered a confirmed student), you will receive an email regarding Orientation. Each new student is assessed a fee for this event and expected to attend.
At Orientation, you will register for courses, meet your faculty and classmates, receive important information regarding grad school expectations, and learn about grad student life at Stockton University!

Registration for support services is strictly voluntary and on a confidential basis. The Learning Access Program can be found on campus in room J-204 or online at stockton.edu/LAP. Please call (609) 652-4988 or send an email to LAP@stockton.edu for more information.
At Orientation, you will be able to meet your classmates and faculty, learn more about
the program and register for your courses! After registration, your bill will be generated and a due date will be provided

Once you register for courses, you may be able to view what supplies are required
for each class via the Bookstore website. Best practice is to contact the instructors of your courses to verify what is required.

to check your Stockton email frequently.
