Internships

Internship

Stockton University students are provided the opportunity to participate in an academic internship during the Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters.

The goal of our office is to assist students in all majors in securing an internship related to their career goals, while promoting quality and positive work experiences.

The Academic Internship Coordinator collaborates with faculty,  employers, campus and community partners to ensure a valuable internship experience.

Why Intern?

Internships allow students to:

  • Explore their career options and professional interest by hands-on learning, while developing marketable skills.
  • Apply classroom knowledge to “real word” workplace situations.
  • Build a network with experienced professionals, potential mentors and other interns.
  • Acquire professional experiences that add value to your resume and academic portfolio, while strengthening your career prospects for a permanent job.
