2. C. F. Osgood Shoe Factory

ca. 1878. Two-story wood framed gable front building with a rectangular footprint more deep than wide. The building housed a shoe factory and clothing manufacturing until it became a church in 2004.


 
3. Hammonton Shoe Company Factory

ca. 1908 – 1914. Flat roofed 3-story, now stucco-over-brick industrial building. The Hammonton Shoe Company was organized with C. F. Osgood, William Smith and John Galigne. The shoe industry ended in 1926. The building was used for the garment industry until 1985. During that time a two-story brick addition was added to the front. After 1985, the building was sold and used for storage of textiles. In 2010 renovations began to convert the building into a satellite campus for Stockton University. The building opened in January 2013.

4. West Jersey and Seashore Railroad Train Station
10 S. Egg Harbor Road

ca. 1904 – 1908. One story tan brick railway station. Shallow pitched, hipped roof extends to form a canopy that is supported by large knee braces (original). The railroad’s arrival was a catalyst for the growth of the downtown. Today the structure houses offices for the Chamber of Commerce and MainStreet Hammonton.
