Galloway, N.J. - The Stockton Center on Successful Aging is sponsoring a free workshop titled “Veterans Benefits: Are You Eligible?” for older adults at Woodview Estates Assisted Living, 5030 Unami Blvd., Mays Landing, N.J. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 1-3 p.m.  Lunch will be served, compliments of Woodview Assisted Living.

The presenter, Grayson H. Heberley, III, Esq., a certified elder law attorney (CELA), will discuss a step-by-step strategy to identifying eligibility and benefits for veterans and their spouses. Those who served their country honorably, whether or not they were injured in the line of duty or were in combat, may be entitled to long term care benefits.

Heberley completed his undergraduate degree with honors in Business Administration from LaSalle University in 1987 and went on to serve as an officer in the U.S. Navy from 1987 to 1992. He earned his law degree with honors from George Washington University, National Law Center in 1995. In 2007, he was awarded a certification in estate planning from Temple University and in 2009, he became a CELA.

This workshop is free and open to the public. To register, call 609-625-4878 or email residentservices@woodviewestates.com.
