Stockton Center on Successful Aging Presents Two Workshops on Cardiovascular Disease

Galloway, N.J. – The Stockton Center on Successful Aging (SCOSA) is sponsoring two free workshops on cardiovascular disease at the Brigantine Senior Center, located in the Brigantine Beach Community Center at 265 42nd St. South in Brigantine. N.J.

“Older Adults and Stroke Disorders” will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. and will discuss Aphasia, a speech and language disorder caused by damage to the brain, one of the possible side effects of stroke. 

“Older Adults and Heart Disease” will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. and will explore the warning signs, symptoms and effects of heart disease.

The lectures will be presented by Leslie Baruffi, regional manager of Griswold Home Care.
