Galloway, N.J. - The Retail, Hospitality and Tourism (RHT) Talent Network at Stockton University is partnering with the Workforce Development Board of Cumberland, Salem, and Cape May Counties in a "Holiday Hiring" event to be held Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Cumberland County College in Vineland, N.J.

Prospective employers with holiday hiring needs must pre-register by Thursday, Sept. 22; please email: RHTSouth@Stockton.edu to sign up for the event at the Luciano Center at Cumberland County College, 3322 College Drive.

Parking is complimentary and lunch will be provided. Employers are asked to arrive by 8:30 a.m. This event will allow employers to quickly scan candidates as they present three or four key facts about themselves.

“We’ve learned after communicating with many of you that traditional job fairs may not be the best use of your valuable time since technology-based employment systems do not always allow you to identify the most outgoing, energetic candidates with an ideal attitude and work ethic,” said Stacy Forman, director of the RHT Talent Network.

There is no cost to participate in this event and only those candidates who have successfully completed pre-training will participate, Forman added.

Stockton University is home to the RHT Talent Network, one of seven talent development networks funded by a grant from the N.J. State Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD).
