Galloway, N.J. - Stockton University is ranked in the top eight colleges and universities in New Jersey in Niche.com’s “2017 Best Colleges.”
Niche.com said its Best Colleges ranking is based on rigorous analysis of academic, admissions, financial, and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and alumni. The national ranking compares more than 1,000 top colleges and universities in the U.S.
Stockton, ranked at #8 in the state among both public and private institutions, was most highly rated for its value, academic quality and the beauty of the Galloway campus, located in the Pinelands National Reserve.
“Niche.com’s ranking of Stockton as one of the top universities in New Jersey means a great deal, because it is based not only on rigorous data analysis of our successful outcomes, but on reviews by students and alumni who are enthusiastic about the value of a Stockton education,” said President Harvey Kesselman.
The survey quoted a junior at Stockton as saying: “I absolutely love Stockton. It's so unique because of how closed off it is, it's not in the middle of a town or city, it's like we're our own little community and it makes all of the students feel so much more tightly knit because we're just a big family. I would absolutely choose this if I had to do it over. I've met some of the best friends I've ever made here at Stockton and had some of the best times of my life. The education is amazing and the friends and experiences are even better.”
