Stockton University to Offer Free Naturalization Classes in Atlantic City

Galloway, N.J. – The Stockton Center for Community Engagement (SCCE) will again sponsor free naturalization classes at the Carnegie Center, located at 35 S. Dr. MLK Blvd. in Atlantic City. Classes on how to become a U.S. citizen will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 6, and will continue on Tuesdays from 6 – 7:30 p.m. through Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016.

“Part of the mission of the SCCE is to strengthen democratic values and civic responsibility. Offering naturalization classes speaks to our commitment to strengthen democratic values and civic responsibility,” said Merydawilda Colón, executive director of the center.

The naturalization classes will be facilitated by SCCE Student Fellows Paola De Los Santos and Alejandra Londono.

Class materials will be derived from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Website, under Citizenship Resource Center, at www.uscis.gov/citizenship.
