Galloway, N.J. - Arnaldo Cordero-Roman, associate professor of Spanish at Stockton University, will give a multimedia presentation about Caribbean historical research and the daily life he observed in Havana, Cuba at Stockton University’s Manahawkin Instructional Site on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m.
Cordero-Roman attended the 48th Annual Conference of the Association of Caribbean Historians at El Hotel Nacional, La Habana in June. This presentation documents the ongoing research of scholars in varied fields, as well as the daily hustle and bustle of the people, classic cars and music found on the island nation’s streets. The photographs he took depict the vibrant spirit of young and old with a sense of hope for a better future, Cordero-Roman said.
The free event will be held at the university’s site at 712 E. Bay Ave., Manahawkin, N.J. Please call 609-626-3883 to register.
