Galloway, N.J. - Learn more about health care directives - including information on hospice, advance directives, living wills and forms that clearly state what kinds of medical treatment patients want toward the end of their lives, on Friday, Oct. 28 at noon at Stockton’s Manahawkin Instructional Site.

Alice Caivano, community representative and liaison of AtlantiCare HealthCare at Home (which provides home care and hospice) will present a lecture on advance care planning. This includes determining what health care treatments an individual would or would not want if he/she could not speak, and letting others know in advance. She will discuss "Having the Conversation” about developing such plans with the patient and his/her family or circle of caregivers.

The free “Lunch & Learn” session is sponsored by AtlantiCare Healthcare at Home and the university’s instructional site, located at 712 E. Bay Ave., Manahawkin, N.J.

The program is open to the public and lunch will be provided.

Please call AtlantiCare at 1-888-569-1000 to register.
