Galloway, N.J. - A Stockton faculty member, a University Foundation board member and two alumnae were named “2016 Women of Note” by the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jean Abbott ’78, assistant professor of Business Studies, Accounting Concentration, and fellow Stockton alumnae Diane Gitto ’90, and Sarah Krom ’04, were recently recognized, along with Donna Buzby, of Capaldi Reynolds & Pelosi, who serves on the Foundation. Gitto is a partner at Friedman LLP, Accountants and Advisors, and Krom is co-managing partner at SKC & Co., CPAs, LLC and a member of Stockton’s Business Advisory Board.
The 2016 Women of Note are recognized for their professional, personal and service contributions and were selected based on their unique combination of NJCPA participation, accounting profession involvement, and community service dedication.
