Galloway, N.J. - The Bay Atlantic Symphony is lighting up the holidays in a beautiful way - with music that brings out the inner warmth of the season!  They will play favorite carols, favorite Hanukkah tunes, Bach's resplendent Third Suite, Pachelbel, and even Johann Strauss - everything you could want for the season!  Join the maestro, Jed Gaylin, at the piano for a carol sing-along after the concert.  Join us for the holidays!

Show time is 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11 in the Campus Center Theatre. Tickets are $32 and may be ordered online stockton.edu/pac or by calling the Box Office at (609) 652-9000.  The Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 90 minutes before the performance.  For group sales, call (609) 652-4786.

Like mistletoe or latkes, a Bach Brandenburg concerto goes with the holidays. This year, Bay Atlantic will present the Fourth Brandenburg Concerto with three soloists in one of the richest Baroque works ever written. But the orchestra also is not afraid to let down their hair and celebrate by spinning the dreidel and lighting the tree. This program features not one but two carol sing-alongs––the second gathered around the piano with the maestro. Join us at the fireplace and ring in the season with glorious music!

The Bay Atlantic Symphony, Stockton’s “orchestra-in-residence,” will perform the following selections:

                                                                                             Johann Pachelbel—Canon in D

Johann Sebastian Bach––Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring

Johann Sebastian Bach—Brandenburg Concerto No. 4

                                                                                                              Intermission

  Johann Strauss—Pizzicato Polka

  Russell Steinberg—Lights On! (Hanukkah Medley)

Franz Schubert—Ave Maria, Lauren Athey-Janka, soprano

Adolph Adam—O Holy Night, Lauren Athey-Janka, soprano
