Club Connect: Meet... Pride Alliance

Pride Alliance is just one way to get involved at Stockton University.
Galloway, N.J. – Walking through the Stockton University campus, whether during the University Weekend parade or the Get Involved Fair, you’ll find students from all backgrounds coming together to celebrate our campus community.
One of the year's biggest events is Pride Fest, which is scheduled to start at noon on Friday, April 24, in the Townsend Residential Life Center (TRLC) Quad. The festival serves as a vibrant end-of-semester celebration, featuring activities, performances and a space for students to embrace their identities together.
For those looking to join or learn more, Pride Alliance encourages students to get involved. Follow Pride Alliance on Instagram (@PrideAllianceSU) or check OspreyHub for updates on upcoming gatherings and ways to participate.
Among the many student organizations fostering an inclusive community is Pride Alliance, a group dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ students.
“Pride Alliance is an organization that helps queer students find a community of people who share similar experiences,” said Jeece Harriott, a student from Egg Harbor Township who serves as the club's vice president. “It’s a safe space where everyone is welcome.”
The organization is actively seeking new members, and Harriott says an ideal member is “someone who is passionate about advocating for the LGBTQ community and interested in supporting and engaging with fellow students on campus.”
While Pride Alliance does not hold regular club meetings, it hosts a variety of events throughout the semester, offering students opportunities to connect, share experiences and celebrate their identities.
