Club Connect: Meet the… Order of Greco-Roman Enthusiasts

The Order of Greco-Roman Enthusiasts is just one way to get involved at Stockton University.

Expect questions like these when you join the Order of Greco-Roman Enthusiasts or OGRE, a club for students who have an all-encompassing love for the Classics.
In addition to weekly meetings, the club hosts Latin Day, a program that allows local high school students to come to campus and learn more about studying the wonders of the ancient Greek and Roman world at a collegiate level.
“I, personally, was part of the military formation where we went through its entire history,” Matthew said. “We had a little game at the end, where groups would try to eliminate the enemy’s general past their shields with foam football ‘missiles.’”
