Club Connect: Meet the… Military Affiliated Students of Stockton

The Military Affiliated Students of Stockton are just one way to get involved at Stockton University.
Galloway, N.J. – Are you looking for a new community that assists in making the transition from an intense military schedule to everyday college life more attainable? Then, the Military Affiliated Students of Stockton (MASS) is the club for you!
Starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, MASS will host “Salute to Spring,” a blood drive event in partnership with the American Red Cross to help the community and stay actively involved. Expect to participate in carnival games and enjoy free snacks in the Sports Center after your donation.
Join the club on OspreyHub or check them out on Facebook and Instagram (@StocktonU_MASS) for more updates and exciting news.
MASS thrives off new members eager to transition their military background into an everyday civilian experience.
“We wanted to create an environment where we can all come together and share similar ideas, events and experiences,” stated member and Army veteran, Calvin Washington.
“MASS is always open to new members who are full of energy, showing clear signs of initiative, integrity and honesty,” said Justyn Pibil, a Navy veteran who serves as MASS’s social media chair.
Along with meetings that involve sharing stories and different experiences, MASS enjoys brainstorming ideas for future events. This past year, they hosted a Halloween pumpkin carving event to spread the word about their club and welcome new members.
