Galloway, N.J. - The Mexican Student Association (MEXSA) is embracing diversity and fostering cultural pride on campus. For first-generation students Yuliana Tapia-Lopez (President) and Katie Mendoza (Vice-President), the desire to celebrate Mexican and Hispanic students pursuing higher education sparked the making of MEXSA. Rooted in a deep love for their culture and a commitment to promoting diversity, MEXSA emerged as a platform to showcase the talents and achievements of its diverse members.

“MEXSA welcomes individuals from all backgrounds who share a curiosity and enthusiasm for Mexican culture. Whether Mexican, Hispanic or non-Hispanic, the club seeks open-minded members eager to explore and embrace the richness of Mexican heritage.” Tapia-Lopez said.

Biweekly meetings at Stockton offer a taste of Mexican culture with engaging activities, delicious snacks and lively discussions. Held in a warm and welcoming environment, MEXSA meetings provide a space for laughter, learning and connection as members come together to celebrate their shared identity.

As MEXSA approaches its first-year milestone, join MEXSA in celebrating culture, heritage, and unity as it embarks on another year of growth and achievement. Keep an eye on MEXSA's Instagram (stockton_mexsa) for updates and announcements as the club marks this special occasion.
