Club Connect: Meet the… Indian Student Association

The Indian Student Association is just one of over 200 ways to get involved at Stockton University.

Galloway, N.J. – Are you energetic and eager to learn about different cultures? The Indian Student Association might be the perfect club for you!

Each meeting usually features a theme. Their last meeting was a game night, during which they played the Indian version of Taboo. Want to find out what the next theme will be? Attend their next meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 4:30 p.m. in C-003.

Join the club on OspreyHub and follow them on Instagram (@ISAStockton) for updates on upcoming meetings and events.

Restored in the spring of 2023 by former president Priya Parikh and Janvi Patel, the association aims to bring Indian culture to the Stockton campus.

Their vision includes educating students about Indian traditions and organizing festivals to create enjoyable experiences for everyone.

“You don't even have to be Indian to be part of our club,” said Khushi Shah, current president of the ISA. “I just want everyone to be energetic and open to learning and exploring new things.”

The club hosts various events, such as dance, karaoke and their annual Garba Night in celebration of Navaratri.
