Murphy Writing Plans Free Virtual Reading

Galloway, N.J. – Almost 100 people tuned in to the first Virtual Reading hosted by Murphy Writing at Stockton University in March.

Another virtual reading is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, April 3, featuring Stockton professor Emari DiGiorgio, Judith Lindbergh, and Paul Lisicky. It will be livestreamed via Zoom and also available by phone.

The free Murphy Write-In, an online writing community, is also offering daily writing prompts, spaces to share and dedicated Write Times participants can join via Zoom.

Write Times are currently scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday April 1 and noon on Friday April 3. So far 20 to 40 people have joined the online sessions.

”We are a very supportive writing community,” said Peter Murphy, founder of Murphy writing. “We are pleased the community has embraced our online programs to share their thoughts and stay connected.”

The free online programs continue through April 30. More information and registration is online at
