Picture Stockton...Students Welcoming Class of 2023

Welcome Week

Stockton University welcomed 1,550 incoming freshmen, now part of the nearly 9,000 undergraduate students, during move-in day and Welcome Week. The first few days on campus are filled with emotion and excitement.

The ospreys began a new tradition this year as President Harvey Kesselman and administrators cheered on the Class of 2023 during a ceremonial Spirit Walk around the track.

Welcome Week

More than 100 student volunteers returned to school early to join 114 Residential Assistants (RAs), five graduate students and eight complex directors to help Stockton's newest ospreys move into their new rooms in Galloway and Atlantic City.

Settling into college life takes time, and students are sure to have questions in the coming weeks. Residential Life's FAQ guide has lots of answers to those questions.

Right above the commotion, a hummingbird perches peacefully. Stockton's Galloway campus is located within the Pinelands National Preserve. Wildlife sightings are abundant throughout the seasons to those who take the time to look closely.

welcome address

As new freshman made their way into the Sports Center for a welcome address, they had no idea what they were about to walk into. Students and staff waved banners and pom poms and made as much noise as they could to surprise and welcome new students.

President Harvey Kesselman presented Stockton's nearly 50 years of history in a 10-minute presentation during his welcome address.
