Galloway, N.J. – Are you a painter, a poet, or any kind of visual artist? If yes, then the Stockton University Creative Collective wants YOU! 

The Creative Collective is exactly what it sounds like: a collection of creative individuals. Artists of all variations are invited to join this club to build connections with other artists and have the opportunity to showcase personal talent.  

The club meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in AS142. Tuesdays are workshop days dedicated to teaching new tips and tricks about a predetermined artistic activity. Thursdays are event planning days, where members discuss prospective outings and exhibitions. Every other Thursday is “Starving Artist Night,” where the members eat pizza while they discuss future activities. Past events from the club include trips to local art and interactive museums. 

The Creative Collective plans to begin collaborating with other clubs as well. According to Anthony Cornatzer, the club’s treasurer, current collaborative efforts with Stockton Student Television (SSTV) are in the works.
