Stockton Alumni Celebrate at Steel Pier

Stockton Steel Pier Day 2018

More than 300 Stockton alumni, students, family and friends attended Stockton Day at Steel Pier Aug. 25.

On Saturday, Aug. 25, 367 alumni, students, family and friends of Stockton attended Stockton Day at Steel Pier, making it the largest alumni event in Stockton’s history. The annual event was hosted by Stockton alumnus Anthony Catanoso `87, President/Owner Steel Pier, for the sixth year in a row.

In addition to unlimited rides and Steel Pier BBQ, the event featured DJ and Stockton alumnus Ahmed Khan `89, who provided entertainment for the event, as well as the opportunity to experience the newly opened Observation Wheel. The Wheel, which opened in winter 2017, is 227 feet tall, the third largest in the United States and has 360 degree panoramic views.

Stockton Day at Steel Pier is a family-friendly event that has grown every year and is a wonderful way to kick off the new academic year for all Stockton Ospreys - past, present and future.
