Annual Scholarship Gala Set for April 28 at Borgata

Legacy Band

Galloway, N.J. - Stockton University’s 38th Annual Scholarship Benefit Gala will be held on Saturday, April 28 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

Net proceeds raised through the event support the Stockton University Foundation Benefit Gala Endowed Scholarship Fund, which provided more than $112,000 in scholarships to over 100 students last year.

“Students always come first at Stockton, but many would not be able to afford college without support from the community,” said President Harvey Kesselman.  “Almost nine of every 10 students at Stockton receive some type of financial aid.  The generosity of our donors makes it possible for our students to graduate, prosper and give back to their own communities in the future.”

Christooher MacchioA wine and champagne reception will start the evening before a special performance by Christopher Macchio, a gifted tenor, who will perform timeless classics from artists like Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, and Frank Sinatra.

Following Macchio’s performance, guests will enjoy a strolling reception with a mouthwatering menu featuring hors d’oeuvres, pasta and salad stations, chef attended carving and action stations, decadent desserts, a three-hour open bar and entertainment.

Prepare to pack the dance floor as nine-piece party band Legacy takes the stage with a high-energy performance of party classics and hits. Capture the fun with photos at our interactive photo booth.
