It's all about the climb. Students Andrew Sykut and Peter Mooney started the Stockton University Rock Climbing Club this semester and are are excited to welcome new members.

There is no experience required to join the group, and the environment is designed to be accepting and non-intimidating.Rock Climbing Equipment

“The goal of the [Rock Climbing] club is to introduce students of all abilities to the sport of climbing, while exploring together and having fun,” said Sykut, who is also the club's President. “We plan on having our climbing activities indoors for the first few weeks before going outside more.”

Some future trips being planned involve weekend hikes to the New York and Pennsylvania areas. Meetings are every Thursday at 5:00 P.M. in B001.

Any students looking to start a new club on campus are encouraged to visit the office of Student Development to get started.
