Galloway, NJ – The Stockton Center on Successful Aging (SCOSA) will present “Social Security: What
you need to know to maximize your retirement income,” at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 20. The event will be held at Woodview Estates, located at 5030 Unami Blvd. in Mays
Landing, N.J.
The program will cover topics such as: when to begin Social Security benefits to maximize lifetime retirement income; when to take early payments; how to capitalize on possible entitled benefits based upon a spouse’s earnings; and the potential impact that continuing to work has on the ability to collect benefits.
Other topics include benefits for divorced spouses; enhancing survivor income; planning for the tax consequences of Social Security benefits; the benefits of filing and suspending benefits; and building an income bridge to enable the delay receipt of Social Security benefits.
The program will be presented by Christopher J. Carrozza, who received a Bachelor
of Science in Accounting from Villanova University, and is a Certified Public Accountant
(CPA), Chartered
Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL).
