Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University students in Associate Professor Helen Wei’s Medical Informatics class will help older adults manage their health care using free mobile apps.
The Stockton Center on Successful Aging will present a free one-hour workshop, “Manage Your Health Through Technology,” on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Galloway Senior Center, located at 621 W. White Horse Pike in Egg Harbor City, at 10 a.m.
Free smartphone apps can be used to monitor weight loss and heart health, and to help manage conditions such as diabetes. Students will cover the pros and cons of the apps, demonstrate how to use them and discuss their compatibility with various smartphones.
