Galloway, NJ – Stockton will host a “Golden Age of Hollywood Musicals” event from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday,March 16 at Kramer Hall, located at 30 Front St. in Hammonton, N.J. as part of the town’s Third
Thursday celebration.
The American public could not get enough of the multitude of musical films produced in the Golden Age of Hollywood (1934-1965). As part of Hammonton’s March Third Thursday theme, “Hollywood,” Kramer Hall will share what made the musical so irresistible in that time period.
Nick Zebrowski, a program assistant at Stockton, will present on musical style, form and content during the classical Hollywood era, with an overview of classical Hollywood cinema.
Zebrowski graduated from Stockton with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a concentration in Media Production. Classical Hollywood has been an area of special interest to him.
This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
