Stockton Moves Up in Forbes List of “America’s Top Colleges"

Galloway – Stockton University again improved its ranking in the Forbes 2017 list of “America’s Top Colleges.”

Stockton is now ranked number 10 among colleges in New Jersey, and 429 nationally overall among the 650 colleges included in the national list, moving up 60 places from the 2016 ranking.

The university also ranked 140 among public colleges nationally and 161 among colleges in the Northeast.

Stockton welcomed its largest freshman class of 1,569 students in September, a 32 percent increase from fall 2016.

The university also ranked 267 in Forbes list of 300 America’s Best Value Colleges that are “worth the investment.” Almost 85 percent of Stockton students receive some type of financial aid.
