Dante Hall Theater & JRL Productions Present Musical, DULA as Part of New Workshop Series
Galloway, N.J. - Stockton University’s Dante Hall Theater in conjunction with JRL Productions presents DULA, a new theatrical production detailing the first nationally publicized crime of passion in American history at 8 p.m. Friday Aug. 18 and Saturday Aug. 19 at Dante Hall Theater, 14 N. Mississippi Avenue Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
The production dates back to the year 1865. While the Civil War was over, but conflict in many Southern towns had not ended. DULA tells the story of one man, remembered as a hero, a criminal and a legend.
DULA showcases the talents of Paul Elliott, Jeanie Cunningham, Rosemary R. Selah and Susan J. West. It is the first play in the New News Workshop Series, presented by Dante Hall and JRL Productions. The series aims to showcase three to five new works each year from local playwrights as well as previously unproduced works.
