Galloway, N.J. -- Writer and graphic essayist Aubrey Hirsch, who’s the author of “Graphic Rage: Comics on Gender, Justice, and Life as a Woman in America,” will speak at 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23. Hirsch will read from her new book and answer questions from the audience.

Her essays and comics have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, TIME Magazine, Vox, and elsewhere. She's the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship in literature and an Individual Artist Award from The Sustainable Arts Foundation.

The show is free, open to the public and will take place in the Campus Center Theatre.

The Stephen Dunn Visiting Writing Series is named after the late Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and distinguished professor emeritus of Creative Writing at Stockton. It’s sponsored by Murphy Writing, the School of Arts and Humanities, the Noyes Arts Garage and the Literature program.
