Join fellow first-generation alumni, faculty, staff, students, and supporters for an evening celebrating the achievements of first-generation students and first-generation-alumni of Stockton University. The event is hosted by the First Ospreys initiative, which supports and celebrates first-generation students to ensure the successful completion of their undergraduate studies. First-generation students are those whose parents or guardians have not obtained a four-year college degree in the United States

The Hughes Center Honors recognizes outstanding New Jerseyans for excellence in their field and for a commitment to public service, civility and bipartisanship that reflects the life and career of Ambassador William J. Hughes. Former New Jersey Governors Jim Florio and Christie Whitman will receive Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Awards for their contributions to New Jersey public life at the ceremony. 

The Hughes Center Honors event is open to the public. Sponsorships are available at various levels. Net proceeds will benefit the William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy Endowed Fund.
