'Forever Plaid' at the PAC
Galloway, N.J. – The Stockton University Performing Arts Center kicks off its 2026-27 season with three shows of the classic musical “Forever Plaid” by Stuart Ross presented by the Atlantic City Theatre Company.
The theater company, which is composed of several Stockton alumni, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25, and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 26. Local actors Julian Perez, Thomas Smith, Riley Newman and Amari Anaya star in the story of four high school friends who are killed in a car accident on their way to their first professional gig in the 1960s. But 50 years later, a cosmic shift and a hole in the ozone allow them to return to Earth to perform.
Expect classic barbershop quartet arrangements and pop hits from the 1950s, including “Catch a Failing Star,” “Heart & Soul,” “16 Tons” and “Love is a Many Splendored Thing.”
The PAC is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year of bringing artists, audiences and the community together through live arts.
Tickets are $28 for the public, $26 for seniors (65+) and military, $23 for Stockton alumni, $22 for Stockton faculty and staff, $15 for youth (17 and under) and $12 for Stockton students. Group rates are also available. Tickets can be ordered online, by calling 609-652-9000 or in person at the PAC box office, which is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 90 minutes before any scheduled show.
