Black Angels Over Tuskegee

Galloway, N.J. – A dramatic play inspired by the stories of the first African American aviators in the United States Army’s Air Forces is set to be presented in Stockton University’s Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14.

Written and directed by Layon Gray, “Black Angels Over Tuskegee” seeks to tell the story of six men who, despite Jim Crow-era inequality, exhibited courage and patriotism and formed a brotherhood.

According to Backstage, the play inspired by true events not only teaches, celebrates, or entertains, but “manages to do all three and one thing more: it inspires.”
