Repujado Workshop

Galloway, N.J. – Learn about repujado, the Mexican craft of metal embossing dating back to the 12th century, at a free, interactive workshop from 2-3 p.m. Oct. 19 at Stockton’s Kramer Hall, 30 Front St., in Hammonton.

Repujado is an ancient technique that transforms a thin sheet of metal into a relief – a three-dimensional object – to create a unique piece of raised art. In this workshop, participants will design, emboss and color their own repujado artwork.

This event is a part of the Stockton Center on Successful Aging’s “Second Wednesdays” program.

Registration is required at stockton.edu/Kramer. For more information, call 609-626-3840.
