Peace Flag Painting

Galloway, N.J. – Discover how to create a flag to promote ideas of peace and harmony with an interactive workshop from 2-3 p.m. Sept. 11 at Stockton’s Kramer Hall in Hammonton, 30 Front St.

At this event, participants will design fabric flags with positive messages, and the flags will be included in a later public installation at the Noyes Arts Garage in Atlantic City.

This workshop is inspired by a centuries-old Tibetan prayer flag tradition, where individuals paint flags praying for things like love, unity, beauty, tolerance, and community.

This event is a part of SCOSA’s“Second Wednesdays” program. Registration is recommended; register online using SCOSA’s web form.
