ASA Webinar: Creating Enabling & Equitable Housing and Multigenerational Communities

9/9/2020, 1-2pm, Online Via Zoom | As our society seeks to address the glaring inequities revealed by COVID-19, we will share a tool to help advocate for housing and communities that are enabling across the life course and prioritize disproportionately impacted communities. AARP International collaborated with global organizations and experts in the built environment sector in 2019, to develop a Statement of Principles for the built environment sector. This webinar will present the 8 principles to inform the work of planners, architects, developers, and real estate professionals, and other local stakeholders who advocate for communities that are livable for all. Following this webinar, AARP will delve into each of these principles with global experts through a webinar series—a virtual world tour.
